I took mine into San Diego Lexus on Nov 18 and they had to order parts. It's now Jan 31 and they say the don't have all the parts and don't know when the missing parts will show up. This is my first dealing with a Lexus dealer and I'm not impressed.

I have a 2024 OT and I do not have "vehicle customize " under settings.

After I got my first service in San Diego, I started getting a lot of spam and scams thanks to Carfax.

Does anyone have a good guess on how a failure should happen? Would it be gradual or sudden? I traded my 4runner for the GX OT so I could continue exploring Baja as well as other destinations. My question is, how worried should I be taking trips to Baja?

I also received my OT in 12/24 with a build date of 10/24 and only the backup camera showing as recalled. Does that mean I've dodged the bullet or will more notifications be coming?

Would frequent oil changes lessen the damage?

No hassles from the locals. I've had the Aliner for 9 years and it works well. I bought it because I can store it in m garage, which is the only place I can keep a RV. It is designed for "rough country" but I had to modify it and drive very carefully in baja.

The spot is on the Pacific about 350 miles from the border. The last part of the drive is 40 miles of semi-maintained road. The GX handled the road so well I drove a little to fast for my camping trailer, but no serious problems.
