Update. My wife said the two screens would go dark every two or three minutes during the last three hours of the trip home. Although dark, you could vaguely see the data in the background, enough to barely make out the speed. Have an appointment with the dealer on Friday. I'll post the results.
My wife just returned from an overnight trip and on the way home today the infotainment screen and instrument cluster went black several times. Every two minutes it would go black and then return, almost like a reset. This is a 2025 Premium + with 1500 miles. First time we have seen this.
Our driver monitor nags me to death with driver inattention alarms but doesn't bother my wife who admits she actually needs it and has the only profile associated with the GX. Anyone have a clue as to why?
We've had our 550 Premium+ for a week racking up 500 miles. Started noticing a high pitched whine when pulling in the garage and putting it in park. Doesn't seem to affect performance, just a bothersome whine. Anyone else notice this?
I agree. Our Toyota dealer has an excellent service department including an awesome waiting area complete with cafe along the lines with Lexus. They have taken great care of our 4 Runner for the past 14 years.
My GX arrives next week. My Toyota dealer that has serviced my 4Runner all these years told me to bring it to him for maintenance service outside of warranty work. Said it would be much cheaper. Has anyone else been told this?
The leading edge was wrapped along the hood front. The trailing edge had nothing to wrap around since it was only 6" wide from hood front to the trailing edge. Today's materials are probably much more durable.
It was a white 4 Runner, so there was always a dirt line along the trailing edge that could not be removed. Then dark spots began showing up between the film and the paint. After having it removed after 8 years the edge with the dirt had begun etching into the paint. The Lexus dealer in Atlanta...
