It’s Led, don’t think it gets nearly as hot as a halogen. No issue yet. PPF works best when a little heat is applied, suspect some heat is good for keeping it tight.

Yellow, cause eyeball science.

Westcott Design Rack
What wind noise do you have with your Westcott rack?? I am thinking that the wind deflector would make all the difference! I ordered the flat factory rack, but they goofed and installed brindge bars instead. My salesman warned me that the wind noise was really bad and a lot of customers are having them taken off, but driving a Tacoma for the last four years, I thought it wouldn't be that bad.
Having to drive with the cross-bars until my rack comes in and if the roof rack noise is anything like the wind noise of these cross-bars, it's horrible!!

I'm currently looking for a roof rack that doesn't have as much of the wind noise. Looking at the Wescott and Frontrunner Slim Line II. Any feedback from those would be greatly appreciated!!
