I just got a '25 OT+ with a little over 6k miles and officially kicked off the first part of the build today.

What am I getting done to it?

First off, I'm starting with a wrap. Why a wrap? Black paint and off-roading don't go well together, and I want paint protection regardless. I'm going to keep some components black, but most is getting wrapped in a satin white. Just dropped it off today to start this process:

As for the rest...

Tires and Suspension

• Sizing up to 35" tires. Debated a lot between getting ATs and RTs and ultimately decided on ATs, primarily for the few times I get into snow, along with road noise. Going with Falken Wildpeak AT4s.
• Wheels: Method 17" 708 HD (Titanium color)
• Icon Stage 8 suspension/lift

Exterior Mods

• Dissent front bumper with 12t winch
• Dissent dual-swing-out rear bumper
• Tire swing out
• Ladder swing out with 2 molle panels
• Dissent roof rack
• Molle panel over rear driver-side exterior window.
• EDIT: Forgot the rock rails

Interior Mods

• Molle panel over rear driver-side interior window
• Looking for a cargo-area platform, but haven't found what I need and will likely get one custom built
• Switch panel for the lighting

Lighting

• Rack bar LED
• Fog lights
• Scenic lighting on rack

Wrap should be done in about a week. Build starts at Dissent in a week and a half. Can't wait to see the transformation.

Thanks for the welcome and I will definitely post pics. The kicker on this is that it's all going to be done quickly. I had to expedite everything because Dissent had a customer cancel on a build and a slot opened up. Normally they have a months-long wait for their builds, but now I'm getting it done in weeks. I just have to scramble a bit. Not helping is the fact that I've got business travel interspersed throughout. For the week of the build, I altered my travel itinerary so I could drive to Dissent in Colfax, CA (~2 hours, not including traffic) to drop off the vehicle in the morning, then fly out of Sacramento. Then, the build will hopefully be done end of the week, and I need to find my way back to Dissent to pick it up the day after my travel is done. A friend will be driving up with me in my Jeep, then driving my Jeep back home for me. Add to that the fact that there are shipping delays on the wrap materials and I'm working up a nice little logistical nightmare.

If everything goes as planned, the first light off-road trip planned for the third week in August - after 15 years taking my Jeep off road, I can't wait to compare.

Dissent is a great way to go. I just had their front bumper installed and love it. I noticed you have a Prinsue roof rack and you look like you’re going to replace it with the Dissent roof rack. There is a post on the forum looking for one and doesn’t want to wait for one. Scroll down a bit and you will see the post.

No - I don't do hard-core enough off roading to justify any more. The reason I want a highly capable vehicle is because I occasionally go a little too far up the wrong canyon or push a little too much where I probably shouldn't. I need enough capability to get back out, not push further in for more.

Bottom line: I'm getting a little too old...

Looks like some great choices made here. Agreed on Dissent. They are the way to go. Does Dissent make an exterior side molle panel for their rack?

That’s a top tier build sheet - that’s 100% overland and you’re a full suspension kit away from a crawler. Can’t wait to see the pics!

Does Dissent make an exterior side molle panel for their rack?

They don't advertise it. When I was going through the build, I asked them about it (both interior and exterior) and they said that they only do them for customers using them for builds. My assumption is that there are potentially some fitment issues that they don't want to deal with if they send components away to another shop to install - but, again, only an assumption.
