This doesn't answer the question, but somewhere in another thread someone posted the hack of turning your lights to DRL OFF (the bottommost position on the stalk) and then firing the windshield washer. Getting in the habit takes a few times, but so far in my testing that seems to have worked. Guessing you are like me and don't want a giant blast of windshield washer fluid sprayed all over the front of your truck every time it decides to pop the headlight washer.good afternoon to all. My question is a little different from the current topic but not unrelated. Is there anyone knows how to disable the headlight washer. Thank you
Correct me if i'm wrong..so the headlight washer did not work when DRL is turned off? This doesn't answer the question, but somewhere in another thread someone posted the hack of turning your lights to DRL OFF (the bottommost position on the stalk) and then firing the windshield washer. Correct - I read that on here somewhere and the few times I have tested it myself it seems to keep the headlight washer from firing. That said, I have prob only tried it like 5x since I read it.Correct me if i'm wrong..so the headlight washer did not work when DRL is turned off?
Your guessed is correct that I dont like water sprinkles over the hood of my gx everytime I clean the winshield..
Thanks...I was scratching my head trying to find where I read it, but maybe it wasn't here after all and it was in the manual. The headlights must be on for the washer to initiate. I think it is written in the manual.
