Looking for input on A/T tire choices on stock 22” rims. I like the look of the stock rims and am currently on the stock Dunlop Grandtreks. I want to move to something a little better for off-road use, while preserving as much on-road ride and quietness as possible. I occasionally tow a light ATV trailer weighing under 1,500 lbs fully loaded. Off-road usage is a combination of mostly flat dirt roads and mild sandy trails, no rocks or hills. On road is at/above 70 MPH.
I have narrowed it down to two choices - open to other suggestions. First choice is TOYO OC A/T 3 in 275/50R22. Second is Nitto Terra Grappler G3 in either 265/50R22 or 275/50R22 (prob would go with the 275 width).
Also, I noticed the tire diameter of the 275/50R22 choices are 32.9” vs. stock 32.5”. If anyone can confirm that no trimming needs to be done to the ’26 Lux to run a 32.9” diameter tire and that the spare will fit without any issues, that would be great!
