4LO is flashing and alarm beeping. (1 Viewer)

Just off the truck. At start up, the “4LO light is flashing and there is an alarm that only goes off when I place the GX OP into L4. Then I’m in lo and can’t get out of it. Guess I’ll call the dealer in the morning. I have 6 miles in the car.

Edit: ez fix. Had to place the car in neutral, then was able to take it out of LO. Learning curve on this one is steep. This thing is big!! Barely fits in the garage.

Are you shifting between LO and HI correctly? Vehicle must be stopped, gear in neutral, then flip the switch on the console back to 4HI.

Glad you figured it out. My dog somehow popped my GX into 4L at a stop light & I couldn’t figure out how to get it back into normal mode. Scary/embarrassing couple of minutes
