Hi everyone!

I just got a 2025 Lexus GX 550 Overtrail (no 3rd row) and I’m wondering if anyone has found fitted seat covers that have both air pass-through and airbag compatibility?
If so, could you kindly share the links?

Many thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, no I haven't though I've been looking a lot. I got a full set of CoverCraft seat covers for my 2023 4Runner, which were great because they covered the front and back of the seats, and I've been bugging CoverCraft to develop some polycotton custom-fit for the GX550 but to no avail. All they offer are the generic one-size-fits-all. Maybe if others asked them they might raise the priority of this product?

I had Wet Okole (made in California) seat covers for years in my Outback, very durable, easy to clean wet suit neoprene material. I just ordered a set for my LC 1958 and it makes considerations for the seat airbags by not covering the seat sides. I am still waiting on delivery and will post pics when done.

Updating the thread I started. I purchased this set from amazon: Amazon.com

Despite the "Frequently returned due to poor size or fit", the set turned out to be fine. At first, I thought the covers weren’t long enough, but after a while, they fit just right. You still have to use the plastic octagon-shaped inserts to secure the bottoms, and there’s no opening in my 25 OT for the rear seat under-hooks. The rear seat's middle insert is attached with Velcro-ish material, and it tends to come apart when folding the seats. Still, I ended up keeping the set considering lack of other options.

Can you post some photos of these seat covers? Particularly the rear seats and any issues/challenges? I really need a good rear seat cover for the OT (no 3rd row seats) that works with the splits, as I often put the passenger side rear seat split down to load long items.

Hi! Sorry for delayed reply.

I just got back from an extended trip, so everything in my SUV is pretty dirty. Here are some pictures and my comments:

  1. The front seat covers have hooks that attach under the seats. They sometimes come loose, but I’m too lazy to tie them up, so they just hang there (shown in the last pic). They don’t bother me.
  2. There are clips at the front of the 2nd-row seats (as shown in the 2nd picture) that I couldn’t find a place to attach. I’m too lazy to look, and they don’t bother me either.
  3. The middle part of the 2nd-row seat cover is attached to the left and right covers with Velcro. It sometimes shifts or comes loose a bit, but it doesn’t really bother me.
  4. The round plastic inserts under the 2nd-row seats slide backward when the seats are folded. That does bother me a little, but I’m too lazy to rig up a rope setup to keep them in place.

Overall opinion:
I’d still buy this set again, but I’d also look for a similar one that covers all three rows. If you have an OT like me, you can sell the 3rd-row cover. The reason I suggest checking out a 3-row option for the OT is that it might include leather backing on the 2nd-row seats like the 1st row. I’m not sure if that’s possible, but I’d look into it.

So, I hope I answered your questions. Please let me know if not.
