I was curious if anyone has removed their passenger seats to make a larger cargo area? For me, having a sloped cargo surface is not desirable as I need to transport dog crates occasionally. I would probably leave the seats out as I seldom need to carry more than 1 human passenger. I don't want another Suburban - I've owned 3 so far. Comments? TY.

Crap - I'm sorry - I just noticed this was posted in the wrong section - my bad. I had planned to put it the modifications section. Can an administrator move it?

I think you can delete this post after cutting and pasting the content and repost it in the right section...

I removed the second row in my OT and built a plywood floor covered with 1/2’ thick rubber mat. I cut off the front down sloped section off my Lexus cargo liner, so now it meets the flat floor where the second row seat was. The back cargo area floor does slope down some, but the rubber mat keeps my dog crate from sliding forward. In May, I plan to add a second level.
