Better than being armed in a GX - having an ARMORED GX - 😅

I was just reading the thread about the “best place to put an holstered firearm” (IMHO - Probably in your gun safe at home.)

Interesting that many feel the need to have a concealed or openly displayed firearm accessible in their GX … but then some parts of the world are not as safe as others. Thankfully I survived my time in some of those places..

Personally if it’s legally allowed for you to carry concealed, it’s always safer to have a firearm concealed and on your person than leaving it unsecured in a vehicle which IMHO is a recipe for disaster.

I’m sure this more of a topic in open carry states and for off duty LE…… But being an international forum with most people not rolling to the supermarket with machetes and Kalashnikovs there are other more nuanced solutions to preparing for arm-egeddon .. instead of an armed GX - why not an Armored one ..

I need to talk to our SWAT commander about getting one of these…. !!!

Yeah I’m sure super heavy and probably 8-10 mpg (like a bearcat) … but I could imagine it would make a pretty dialed in Armored Tactical Response vehicle and for use in Executive protection which is probably their main market… off road capable but with a smaller foot print than a bearcat or medcat.
