What issues made it a lemon?

Electrical issue that caused a near fire in my garage. Components under the hood (e.g., fusebox, alternator) started to burn, smoke, stink up the whole place with burning plastic. Fortunately got it out of the garage and tow driver disconnected the battery before it erupted into flames.
