Has anyone seen black out logos for the center wheel caps on the Overtrail models? Film would not work as the logo is raised on the wheel. Would finish off the last of covering the chrome logos.

I used VHT Nite-Shades and sprayed the whole cap. You lose the dark charcoal color, but at least the chrome is gone!

No photos but there’s not much to see. The VHT goes on thin and keeps detail. Looks jet black and has held up great so far.

Following - need to do the same for the wheel caps. Used a vinyl for the grill emblem so at this point the only missing blacked out option is the wheel caps. Lexus should have done better with the blacked out option to include the entire vehicle instead of just the rear.

Here is the paint - Rustoleum product. Next time you have a service - have the dealer pop the center caps for you. I was not into talking all the wheels off and doing it.

Just checked - interestingly on the 2025 OT+ the logo on the wheel caps are not raised - it’s all even surfaced

Thank you YLab. 👍

I’m planning for after market wheels and 285/70R18 tires but will also keep my original 2024 OT wheel set so I can mount dedicated snow tires on them for about 4 months of use each year.

I’m still debating what type of lift and/or suspension mod to go with.

I’ll look for that paint for sure.
Agree that Lexus should have - at least for the Incognito grey - provided a full blackout of the remaining chrome colored parts.

Thanks for your help and contributions. 😊

Glad I could help. I have the atomic silver and onyx - the center wheel caps were the last chrome I had to cover up.
