brake upgrades

Interested to hear if there is actually a noticeable difference, we don't have our GX yet, but looking at the specs, I wouldn't think that you would be able to improve on it that noticeably.

you can guarantee there'd be a noticeable difference. 6 piston in front and 4 in the back. They would be smoother, tighter, stop in a shorter distance with a lot of positive feed back. If you tow or live where grades are steep, the cost would be worth it IMO.

They will be more powerful but will not shorten the stopping distance as that's determined by tire grip.

hi, has anyone installed a brake upgrade. i am looking at this brand, PEAK 6-Piston Forged Front Brake Kit for Prado 250, Land Cruiser 300,

looking at towing, and was impressed with the improved performance quoted.

and not that it is important, but coloured caliper better than the plan grey option

Curious what you will get quoted for installation. Swapping rotors/calipers, running new brake lines, bleed/test - could be a decent amount of hours. I would also ask how this mod would affect the parking brake behavior.
