Hey all - I get to steal my adult son for an am to early afternoon destination drive near Claremont.. (on Saturday 6/20/26 .. and I thought about heading out to big bear or arrowhead area.. (or even closer if there is a good option). Cleghorn Ridge Trail was one thought … super close to Claremont.
Anyone with any suggestions on a good destination drive not far from the inland empire… ?
Also anyone interested in joining for a half day jaunt in So. Cal… thought was to stop for something yummy on the way back..
Looking for something that is moderate difficulty that doesn’t require rock rails.. because I won’t have the time to swap over to my rock rails between now and then.
