Where can I buy this part? I broke a small piece while taking the cross bar out.

Great Question. I spent 20 minutes trying to get the covers off. I was able to get one off but damaged it slightly and gave up on the others. I've read it helps to have a trim removal tool but other than that, not sure. Hoping someone posts a video at some point. The wind noise is brutal.

Had that same problem when swapping out my full roof rack for crossbars. Rather than continue to to point of damage, I coaxed the dealer into doing it at N/C, since both were purchased through the dealer.

For future reference, what is the best way to remove those cover's without damaging them?
I believe there’s a small notch on the inner bottom edge of the cover. Should be a tool to remove cover, as well as the crossbars, included. Insert plastic tool in the notch, and twist or pry, to pop cover off. Mine was in plastic zip bag, located in glove box.

These are easy to remove with the correct tool. You need a trim removal tool that is placed on the small indentation on the side of the cap at the base (I’m out of town away from my GX or I’d attach a pic) and pry upward while placing your other hand on the top of the trim cover (to prevent it from flying off—from experience).

I recently installed a Resin Crossbar on my GX Lux. The instructions for installing and removing the crossbar attached. According to the instructions, there is no removal tool.

I was thinking of posting a video when I removed these, but I would have needed a tripod since I was working off a step ladder. You really need to take your time not to damage the plastic parts. Bear in mind, they do not release easily, and you need to exert a fair amount of outwards force to release the clips. First, you need to gently pry the cover outwards towards you, and then briskly pull them off. Some parts release easier than others. I recommend using some microfiber towels to protect your exposed roof sections. When those covers finally let go, you need to brace yourself on the ladder. I think I lost my balance a couple of times.
