If anyone is wanting to know what entails the exhaust swap here are photos and notes from my install.
I am not mechanically inclined at all so if I was able to do it, anyone should be able to.
Here are the part numbers:
The process was fairly simple, it's just 6 bolts (14mm socket) that holds everything together. Other than that it's just the exhaust hangers which was the hardest part. I used soapy water in a spray bottle and just sprayed the hangers and used force.
Here are the bolts,
A photo of the TRD kit and a side by side.
You will need the hardware kit, mine was included in the box with the tailpipe. I don't have a close up photo of the actual hardware kit since I did not plan to make a writeup till after the fact.
Once you have the stock center pipe off, you will need to transfer this little piece onto the TRD center pip. You undo the bolts and use the hardware kit to connect it to the TRD. There are also two o-ring rubber seals (I think this is the right term) in the hardware kit. One is for this piece and the other is for the center pipe to the tail pipe.
Everything else is just bolt back on, a tip for reinstalling. For the tail pipe piece I took the hangers off the vehicle and installed them on the new part then just positioned the pieces and slipped the hanger onto the hooks on the vehicle. Same thing for the one hanger on the center pipe that faces the opposite way from the other three hangers. Just slip the three hangers that face the same way on the center pipe in first then slip the one facing the opposite way.
I do not have a video of the stock exhaust for a side by side but if you're here you probably know how the stock exhaust sounds.
Here is a video of the sound.
I've only driven for about 20 miles so far and I will say that between 2-3k rpm it drones loudly. Will keep y'all updated if the sound changes as it breaks in and settle.
I purchased the TRD exhaust for $2350 after shipping.
Cheers.
