Hello all! After lots of back and forth between the Land Cruiser and the GX, I finally pulled the trigger on a '25 GX 550 OT+. I'm absolutely loving it!
I'm fortunate enough to keep my old car as a work commuter ('16 BMW X5), and have my GX as my cruiser/road trip vehicle.
Not many plans for mods, as of right now. I will probably put the AFE CAI and inlets on. I would love to put steel bumpers on, but not really feeling the current options that I've found. I'm hoping Addictive Desert Designs will put some out. Definitely want to upgrade my fuel tank, when a good option is available that doesn't require the loss of the spare.

Quick about me: I'm an Army vet who currently travels the nation training Marines (I opted for the coolbox to keep the crayons from melting). I'm getting back into more personal travel (would love to road trip out to Yosemite and up the west coast to Rainier). I'm an avid reader, play Xbox with some of my old Army buddies from time to time (ammo in CoD is way cheaper than real life), and otherwise just enjoy spending time with my family.

I'm looking forward to meeting people in the community, sharing stories, etc.

Cheers!

congrats on your OT. Like many others I'm waiting for allocation news for my OT, and looking forward to the day I can post what you just did! In the meantime I am stocking up on various accessories (beefier skids, LC roof rack, front bumper w/Baja Design S2 lights, etc). Cheers

Welcome. Looks great as-is!

Mine's the same color and I'm a little baffled by it. Your pic makes it look purely silver. Mine's siver in direct sunlight, but has a decidedly pewter/goldish tone in low light (almost like the LC250 Meteor Shower color). I'm growing to really like how dynamic the paint color is.

Enjoy!

Thank you! And I know what you mean! My BMW is called Mineral Metallic Silver, but is more of a champagne color. I love how the GX is silver in some light but has earthy undertones in others.

Thank you! I got really lucky with mine. I put my name on the waitlist and was told 6 months. A month later, the dealership reached out and told me someone had backed out of their allocation. It was exactly what I would have built, down the to last accessory. I picked it up a month after that.

Hopefully, yours will come in soon! Can't wait to see it with the mods.
