The best sales figures I could find for the Lexus GX 550 are 30,914 units sold in North America in 2024 and ~ 16,500 2025 ytd (May) with a total GX 550 build of approximately 47,400 units.
The GX was targeted towards the US market so that is where the majority of the production went.
I am expecting my 2025 GX 550 OT+ to be delivered in a few weeks. Hoping all the negative things reported on this forum have been addressed during the 47,400 units built so far.
Keeping my fingers crossed since this is the only vehicle I have found in the past 3 to 4 years that I have considered to replace my Mercedes ML500.
EV's, Hybrids, Airbag suspension and anything with a 4 cylinder engine were never considered. Would love a V8 but there is nothing out there with a V8.
