Has anyone installed these inside door sill scuff plate covers? (2 Viewers)

Hi everyone! I’m looking at these door sill covers and was wondering if anyone here has installed them:

If you’ve used them, please share pictures and your experience! I’m curious about a few things:

• What method is used to hold them in place? A tape? An adhesive? Clips?
• Is the adhesive permanent?
• Is there adhesive tape on the back? If so, can it be removed and replaced with a non-permanent tape?
• Do they allow the light from my illuminated sills to show through?

I reached out to the seller, but they haven’t responded—probably because they’re overseas.

It's all in the ad -

most likely a 3M style VHB or Foam double sided tape. It's a strong bond, but can be pulled off with a little heat (would likely bend and ruin the plates removing them by pulling) or Dental floss if you wanted to preserve them.

It looks like there is a hole for the Lexus logo

The all metal look is too Gaudy for me. If I ever messed up my doorsills that bad...I'd just buy the new plastic.

The new sills are around $300 each and I drive women with hills, so it's an issue for me ;-)
