So truth be told I really don’t use my keys very much anymore since I tend to use the digital key on my phone, or the digital card that I keep in my wallet.

That being said, I came across a very aesthetic, leather key cover/protector, with which I’m super pleased.

Bought two of them on Amazon for a fairly decent price. They come in black and saddle tan. Personally, I think the saddle tan is much more handsome.

I’m looking for something exactly like this. Are you able to remove the valet key easily without removing the fob from the cover/protector? I have this rubber one that fits like a glove but you can’t remove the valet key unless you remove the fob. I need to lock things in the glove box sometimes. Thanks for posting.

I live in San Luis Obispo, use my digital key almost exclusively and rarely attend events that have valet parking. In my case, I saw it on line and liked the look and brought it for aesthetics.

Occasional removal, would not be a big deal. It comes out fairly easily.

But if you were doing this every day because you valet your vehicle at work, I could see it starting to show wear from being taken apart so regularly.

Again, I bought two of these and they’re very handsome. They will probably last forever simply because I won’t use them on any regular basis - except when attending weddings and the such (which reminds me - I need to take my key with me next week for my cousins “wedding events”.)

Do these go in and out of your pocket easily or does the silicone material grab and stick?

I have the OEM ones and they suck. They don’t stay aligned on the fob so you can’t push the buttons if/when you need to.

The silicone ones stay aligned nicely. The material sticks a little but not much. Lint from the pocket also stick on the silicone but it comes off easily. Honestly for the price they are a great fit and protection.
