Got my windshield replaced and noticed this piece of trim was loose.
I checked and it actually was detached entirely. Tried to push it in and make it snap back but cannot figure out.

Any ideas? Thanks!

When I had my windshield replaced by my Lexus dealer, they broke that trim on both sides and tried to glued it back into place with the black windshield epoxy. It was a half-assed, lame attempt to hide the damage and made a mess. I sent them photos and basically asked what the hell is this? They apologized profusely and asked me to bring it in so they could replace the trim on both sides.

Wow! But I can't say I'm surprised.

My dealership ordered the new windshield but then sent me to a 3rd party shop for the installation (no idea why). I will call the shop asking them to fix it but I'm afraid they will just jam in there. Also noticed a couple of scratched they caused while removing/installing the windshiels so my conficende in them is low.

Please share the part number for these trim pieces if able. My passenger side needs replaced and my searching the parts catalog is a frustration of low res images. Thx
