How do the all season 22s perform? I have not tested them out in the snow/ice and am curious.
When I tested it with just pure snow, it performed as expected. I didn't get to test it too much, but would've felt safe driving anywhere going under the speed limit. I did a little testing in the neighborhood and noticed some slippage and fishtailing when accelerating through a turn.

As the day went on, we started getting some mixed conditions and I never really went out to test it. That being said, I do plan on upgrading the wheels and tires. I haven't read too many glowing reviews about these OEM tires that come with the Lux+.

TLDR: As with all snowy/icey conditions, drive safe and you'll be fine. I do expect it to be much better after adding on some Nitto Terra G3s.

That’s interesting. I had the same exact experience with my Toyo oc3s on my stock 22” wheels. It feel pretty planted when diving normally. However with some fresh slippery snow underneath and making a more aggressive turn from a stop sign, I definitely fishtailed some and traction control didn’t kick in. Good thing I knew how to counter steer. Maybe it’s from all that low end torque on the Gx. I didn’t have it on “snow” mode, which might have reduced the torque. I was on comfort.

I feel like theres only so much AWD + tires can do with a mix of ice and snow. Roads were BAD over the weekend. But I was definitly shocked in about 3 inches of fresh snow, that I fishtailed as much as I did. Granted, I wouldn't be driving like how I was if I had my family with me and other cars were on the road.

I would hope once I upgrade to my Nitto Terra G3s on 20" vossen wheels that snow/ice performance would increase, as those are 3 peak rated tires, while these stock tires are not.

Hoping to get new tires/wheels soon before winter ends so I can hopefully test it during the next snow we get. Car is currently at a shop for PPF/Ceramic. Then will do the wheels/tires.

Lux+ doesn't have snow mode. I heard you should only activate snow mode when there is more than 12" of snow though.
