Just prior to leaving for the Alpine Loop excursion, I received the new Mangoal video recording system. My first attempt at installation was challenging… and then the folks at Mangoal reviewed my pics and gently made me aware that I had INADVERTENTLY mixed the NEW Mangoal rear cover with OEM parts and thus the fitment issue.

Back to SLO from the Alpine loop adventure I had the new front video system installed fairly quickly. (A quick “Man Goal” that took maybe 15-20 min). The last step of replacing the upper rear cover (even when using the right parts
) is a little finicky but it finally went into place.
Having a full-time, power actuated front facing loop recording camera is 1. Cheap insurance, with all of the scam artists out there - causing accidents and feigning injuries. 2. The GPS feature stamps the location of “events.” 3. The Mangoal device is not likely something you will use on the daily, but it is there for you when you need it.
I will post pics and my experience with this product as I capture pictures with the Device
Slight gap is noted but all around fitment is good.
Included GPS module.
64 GB micro card included.
Data Capture - outside SLO Sheriff’s Office - good quality picture / video and easy to download.
GPS and time stamp.
So far it’s a great little unit.
