Nav Display Lacking Useful Information

Has anyone figured out a way for the Nav screen to display more useful information like: elevation, the street you are traveling one, or the next intersection? You get some of this when you have entered a destination, but nothing but the map when you are just driving. These were all easy to display on Garmin units I have used in the past and with the HUGE screen there should be plenty of room to display this sort of info.
