Bought new HGX Premium+ last October and currently have 8,000 miles, mostly back and forth to AZ. Very satisfied with performance on highway, cursing at 80 MPH no problems. Getting as much as 23 MPG depending on terrain and wind direction. Needed BOF due to pulling trailer with weight distribution hitch with sway control, came from Toyota Highlander and was concerned about using WDH on unibody. Also, GX has built in trailer brake control, and I think there is some type of electronic sway control. I asked the dealership people about trailer sway control, and they seemed to be confused between trailer sway control and the detachable sway bar system. Gave up on the question and researched the owner's manual which indicated there is a trailer sway control system of some type. Any answers about the sway control system would be appreciated and whether it would be wise to disengage the sway control system on my hitch.
