Hey fellow GX’ers,
Just picked up a GX550 and I think I accidentally joined a luxury off-road cult… and I’m 100% okay with it.
I bought this thing thinking, “Yeah, it’ll be a nice family SUV.” Next thing I know, I’m pricing lift kits, watching overlanding YouTube at 2AM, and waving at other GX drivers like we’re part of some secret society.
It rides like a cloud, looks like a tank, and drinks gas like it hates the planet. But I love it. This might be the first vehicle that makes me say “yes” to both Costco runs and camping trips in the Rockies.
Looking forward to sharing the journey, asking a bunch of questions, and probably spending way too much money because of you guys. Thanks in advance
