THE 0FG EXHAUST:

The AWE 0FG Exhaust for the Lexus GX 550 is a 50-state emissions-compliant catback system featuring equal-length front pipes, dual-phase 180 Technology®, and high-clearance BashGuard™. Handcrafted in-house from CNC mandrel-bent 3” and 2.5” U.S.-sourced .065”-wall T304L stainless steel, the 0FG is engineered for signature sound, maximum highway comfort, and serious clearance. Factory-matched flanges make installation direct and precise. No cutting required.

DUAL-PHASE 180 TECHNOLOGY®:

The GX 550 presents more than one frequency capable of producing unwanted in-cabin drone. The solution is dual-phase 180 Technology®. AWE’s patented drone-canceling technology targets the two problematic frequencies generated under cruising conditions and routes them through precisely engineered chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and chambers, we control when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow. That timing creates a 180-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels the problematic frequencies. The result: full-bodied tone when you’re on it, maximum comfort when you’re not.

EQUAL LENGTH. SIGNATURE SOUND:

Equal-length front pipes ensure exhaust pulses from each bank travel the same distance before converging downstream. The balanced geometry shapes the GX 550’s twin-turbo V6 into a smooth, distinct exhaust note while providing the foundation for the system’s straight-through architecture. Equal length by design. Signature sound by result.

BUILT FOR CLEARANCE:

The 0FG’s front pipes are routed above the GX 550’s frame rails, preserving valuable underbody clearance and compatibility with skid plate systems. Out back, the high-clearance BashGuard™ terminates after the rear axle, eliminating low-hanging rear sections while maintaining a street-legal exit location. An extra-thick reinforced stainless steel ring surrounds the BashGuard™ outlet, built to handle the abuse that comes with putting the GX 550 where it belongs.

AUXILIARY FUEL TANK FRIENDLY:

More range without sacrificing the exhaust. The 0FG Exhaust is engineered to maintain compatibility with spare-mounted auxiliary fuel tank configurations and has been physically tested with the Hellivue auxiliary tank.

MADE IN PA, USA:

Every AWE 0FG Exhaust for the Lexus GX 550 is engineered, designed, and manufactured in-house from U.S.-sourced .065”-wall T304L stainless steel. CNC mandrel bends maintain consistent cross-sectional area throughout the system, while the clean, straight-through design maximizes flow and durability.

100% EMISSIONS-COMPLIANT:

The AWE 0FG Exhaust is a 50-state emissions-compliant catback system that retains the GX 550’s factory emissions equipment.

THE FINE PRINT:

AWE’s Perfect Fitment Guarantee, No CEL Guarantee, and Lifetime Warranty all come standard.

Sounds awesome! I'm guessing I'm kind of out of luck with these though, it appears all the aftermarket exhaust systems keep a larger mid muffler and slim down the one at the back. I have an aux fuel tank that required this slim Flowmaster in the middle, so would need the opposite if even possible. Would a setup like that just not work as well?

When we launch we will include detailed underbody photos. You should be able to use those for your determination. We tested with an auxiliary unit that takes the place of the spare tire, but we have not tested with the tanks that sit mid-chassis at this time.

Hi would love to know more about the Aux Fuel tank. Which system did you end up buying? What modifications were needed? Did you install it yourself and took it to a shop?

Sounds good, thanks. I'm pretty positive it won't fit, but would definitely like to confirm.

It's a Long Range America tank and as far as I'm aware, they haven't released it for sale yet still. I did see they have one available that takes the place of your spare tire and would otherwise work in the same way. For mine the mid muffler has to be slimmed down as shown in my pics above. I was lucky enough to live locally to them, so my vehicle used their prototype and they worked with a local muffler shop for that part. LRA installed the tank themselves, so not sure what install would typically look like and not positive they will release this style tank or not. If you do many road trips or towing it's a game changer though. Essentialy doubles my normal range.
