Greetings. Have narrowed down my search to the Overtrail and the Armada Pro 4X. Should I be concerned about some of the issues I have been reading about the GX? In particular squeaky brakes, hood flutter and windshields cracking due to the more upright angle? Better to wait a year or so until these issues are worked out? Drove the Armada, fantastic powertrain and interior but it is massive. Thank you.

I have a deposit on an GX OT+. I also was looking at the Pro Armada but decided against it because of resale value. Looking forward to my GX arriving. However I am out of town and renting a new Ford Expedition Platinum and really like the vehicle.

Plan is to keep this vehicle for at least 7 -10 years so not overly concerned with resale value

I am on my 2nd GX, had a 24, never had any issues with it, now a 25'. Same story, no issues, absolutely love the GX. I think the problems you read about only effect a very small number, just like any other car. Look at the Corvette forum some time, you would never own one after reading there. In any case, its a Lexus, great service and quality, Nissan, not so much. I am surprised they are still in business! I think int'l sales keep them going. I will say that new Armada Pro looks nice, but the manufacturer would keep me away.

No vehicle is perfect or completely ideal, but I really like my 25 GX and have no reservations about the purchase. Mostly because I knew exactly what I was getting before I got it. It fits my needs.
