Has anyone PPF-ed their headlights? I paid for the Lexus option for front PPF which also includes side view mirrors and door handles. Does not cover headlights. Found this inexpensive kit on Amazon. It’s from alphabet soup company and appears to be just launched.

No reviews yet but for less than $25 it may be worth a try. I know…. If I can afford this expensive GX, then I should be able to afford to have the headlights professionally PPFed too.

When I had the Xpel PPF applied the shop initially said they couldn't do the headlights because of a hydrophobic layer that they run into on some vehicles. I kept pressing them on it because I feel that the PPF on other vehicles headlights is the only thing that has kept them from yellowing over 10 years, which the shop confirmed. The PPF prevents tiny pits from starting on the headlights which allows the oxidation of the plastic lens.
Ultimately they hand polished with a compound (IIRC) in order to get the PPF to adhere.

I would suggest a shop as the headlights have some tough contours on the upper outsides by the hood/fender area.
