Hey all, wanted to give some information that would have helped me out quite a while ago had I known about this dealership.

I have been on a list with my local dealership here in CO since April of '25. They originally told me 6-9 months which wasn't great but they also were selling at MSRP with no mandatory dealer add-ons. So I gave them a call in November to check up as we were in the window of what I was told. I am not exactly sure what changed, lower than expected allotments or if my salesperson misspoke (I had written down what I was told in my research spreadsheet) but it had moved until April of '26. I had been calling every dealership within 500 miles since summer to see if I could get one quicker. As we all know most dealerships were the same with long wait lists and others had shorter timelines but there were mandatory add-ons and/or market adjustments which I wasn't willing to do.

After I got the updated date I poured over this site and miraculously found a reference to Pembroke Pines Lexus in FL and that they had a very quick timeline and the dealership experience was great. While not expecting much I gave them a call in early November. They told me 60-90 days which was much better so I got on the list. About a week later I got the call that they had one allocated that matched what I wanted (LUX or LUX+ in several different colors). Car should hit the dealership in about a 10 days. This dealership has no market adjust, add-on's, etc.

So if anybody out there is looking or you are on a long list and you are ok buying out of state and shipping a car, give Pembroke Pines a call. Super easy to work with thus far and they had no issue selling out of state.

That is good info.

I joined this site a few years ago as I was possibly going to buy a GX550 for the wife. With all of the delays, dealer markups, reported engine issues early on, and after waiting it out for about a year, we went a different direction and bought a used GLE for cash. (we handed down her 2017 infinity QX60 with only 33k miles to her son) She obviously doesn't put on many miles a year, so the GLE checks every box for us. (We went with a 2017 as we didn't want the newer model with the electric assist in the trans, or whatever they have these days)

I just decided to check in here today, as I'm still interested in the GX550. I'm shocked that there are still waiting lists and dealer markups or add-ons. There still may be a GX550 in our future, but after browsing the threads this morning, it will apparenetly be in the more distant future.

I do like these GX's, so I'm going to try to stay tuned in. Thanks for a great site.
