I'm wondering if anyone has installed rooftop boxes on their OT OEM crossbar?
I recently purchased a yakima skybox 16. Turns out I cannot mount it on the OEM crossbar. The bar was just too wide and thick, and the clamp on the box just won't close. Luckily I can return it.
The store associate helped me check the Thule ones, and although those have different kind of clamps, it would still be too shallow to securely mount the box. So I'm curious if anyone has installed rooftop boxes on their GX 550 OT with OEM crossbar?
