Just picked up my new Luxury model and I was interested to see what anyone is doing to protect the seats. I previously had a 2018 Highlander and the perforated leather passenger seat spontaneously ripped in the center like a piece of perforated paper. I want to prevent this from happening and only want to cover the front seats. I know the seats are beautiful and covering them may nullify the seat ventilation, but I want to protect them as I expect to keep this vehicle for 10 years. I need something to match the grey/black interior in a Luxury style (leather or faux leather?) I have not gotten a response from Car Covers Unlimited as I do not think they have made them for this model year. The Weathertech covers are not very pretty, Any ideas? I have already updated the dash camera to a recordable model- FITCAM, and also placed a screen protector on the display. I plan on adding an XPEL shield on the front grill and side mirrors since I live in Florida and we have a bad love bug issue. I am holding off on windshield protectin and simply lowered my comp insurance to a $300 deductible. I also ordered Weathertech floor mats and rear deck mat and XPEL door edge protection and Weathertech garage wall bolsters. I will do the 1st oil change at 1000 miles and then the dealer has free service at 5000 and 10000 miles.
