For 15k, ask for oil change min. Rotate tires optional(not too bad if not, it was rotated at 10k). Decline others. If Lexus service is too expensive, check Toyota dealer. I found local shops have almost the same price as Toyota dealer. Check your dealer website, they often, sometimes always have coupon discount for oil change, use it. If you don’t mention, you gets charged at full price. If this is still too expensive for you, change by yourself.

By the way, every often dealer will give you free inspection if you don’t want to pay. Dealer makes money if they find issues and you decide to repair.

Bringing your car to a Toyota dealership for lower service costs is a good tip, but I've just heard such bad things about Toyota dealer sales & service.

Back in the day about 10-15 years ago, Ford dealers had the absolute best oil change deal called "The Works". $35 for an oil change & tire rotation on any car, using really good motorcraft synthetic blend oil and top-end motorcraft oil filters. I recommended that to every friend - it was unbeatable.

Ford dealerships still offer "The Works" service package. It costs from $40 to $70 depending on vehicle type. Oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, multi-point check-up, and a battery test. They have a $20 rebate going on now for it.

At the end, you get what you paid for. If you want good service and low price, it basically doesn't exist or not be able to get appointment. Dealer is not making money for just oil change. They use low oil change deals to bring other business. At least from my experience, changing oil is general ok. They know exactly how much oil to put in(a lot of independent shop will guess and sometimes overfill), no leak on oil filter, drain plug and use Toyota synthetic oil. That is good enough. I think the technician changing oil should be the lowest junior level and get least pay. I did find somethings multi inspection is off. You can tell from comparing the reports. Brake pad will magically "grow" which means brakes are not measured and maybe just eyeball estimated. If you really care about cost, you should change yourself and buy oil with discounts.

Just wait until you take it in for the 40k service. They quoted me $750! The only "extra" other than the usual stuff was checking/changing the spark plugs!
V35A-FTS takes a lot of work to change spark plugs. You should check the youtube video. I think the most cost is on spark plug change. Spark plug is 1/3 life time of 2GR engines. Turbo destroys anything faster.

Im not really sure if they actually doing inspections. Like I mentioned before, I had a Tahoe 2018 (before GX). I did mine periodic oil change and few days later, the engine belt was fell off from tension wheel, while i was driving. They quoted me huge ( i don't remember amount). I changed it myself, (youtube helps, lol) cost me less than 100$. So they question is, are they really checking anything during inspection?

You should have seen the inspection video my dealer sent me. It was basically a tech saying "Hi - I'm inspecting your GX today. It's... brand new, so I topped up your wiper fluid for you. Have a great day"
