Hey, long time listener, first time caller. I have the Lux+ with the retractable running boards and they are so slippery (just got ten inches of snow and those things are like banana peels). Anyway, I was looking for friction/safety tape and I didn't know if anyone had found or knew someone with it pre-cut. I'm not looking forward to buying a 6 inch wide roll and carefully cutting the strips to fit the raised tread. I figure I don't need to do the whole running board just the areas right under the doors. If anyone has other options I am open to ideas. I wasn't sure if I should post here or under modifications, but since I haven't modified it yet and this is an issue for me I went with this section. Thanks.

I also found this issue with my car.

Maybe try skateboard grip tape? Be sure to thoroughly clean the running boards with isopropyl alcohol before applying and consider heating up the mating surface with a heat gun or hair dryer before applying it. That should help give maximal adhesion so it doesn't peel over time.

That's the type of stuff I was looking at, but my biggest concern was cutting it into strips that looked uniform and fit the threads. I guess I will have to go to hobby lobby and buy some kind of cheap cutter with guides because I'm guessing the blade will be ruined by that sandpaper like material after I'm done.
