So Cal
Winter is nearing and I tried to fit my Peerless 0232806 Auto-Trac chains on my new Falken AT4W LTs. Nope, need bigger chains that fit.

Auto-Trac sizes don’t include 34” tires. Peerless website suggests Z-583 Z-Chain and SZ-468 Super Z-8. I’ve not used the diagonal pattern cable chains in the past.

Has anyone here used them? Feedback or alternative recommendations?

My son lives in Tahoe and carrying chains is necessary when we visit in winter to get access to the roads over the passes when R2 restrictions are in place (4WD with snow rated tires and must carry chains).

+1 comment. My chain preference is SAE Class-S (low clearance) chains.

Which vehicle version do you have? The manual states that chains cannot be mounted on vehicles with tire size 265/70R18 or 265/50R22.
