I’ve read in several threads about disabling various functions on the GX. But I haven’t come across anything exactly about my own question.
First, I admit I haven’t pored through the owner manual for a solution. I just have a question and thought someone here may have already discovered a solution.
Is there a quick and easy way to temporarily disable the proximity sensors on my 2024 GX?
The issue arises when going through a car wash. I can quickly disable the automatic windshield wiper by popping it up a notch. But all through the wash the alarms are going off and on.
It would be nice to know a way to silence them just temporarily and then turn them back on at the end of the tunnel.
Please advise.

On the main menu screen tap the tab next to the climate tab. I think it has the 9 dots. Tap the parking assist to disable. This is also helpful in the woods when small saplings or leaves come near the sensors.
