Just installed this little cubby on by GX - and I already find it indispensable.

Clean the plastic surface with supplied alcohol wipes. Make sure to take the time to align it properly and BINGO - it’s like it was always there.

For me, it’s a great place to have my insurance card, PD badge and a clipmate rechargeable light for night time lighting.

This quickly accessible cabin space is a no brainer for GX’s of all trims and years.

One additional thought if ordering this product and have in mind a front camera install - perhaps order it, do the camera install first and then install the cubby (I installed my Mangoal camera first, and then the ceiling cubby - aka sunglass holder.)

Again, I actually intend use this versatile cubby for other items.

My sunglasses, I simply put in a triangular eyeglass case and slide it into the space in front of the passenger seat.

Also pro-tip when pulling off the backing to 3M tape - use the edge of a razor knife to tease up an edge from each 3M strip.

Once an edge from each 3M strip lifted then remove them all completely (at one go) preceding mounting.

Removing the backing from 3M is super simple but those of us over 40 with presbyopia, lifting the edges of the backing can be a little annoying. The razor knife technique helps 👍🏽🙂
