As I'm still waiting for my 2025 to come to my dealer to see if I want it or wait til another comes in, I wondering if there's a benefit to wait for the 26 models. Any thoughts?? Any news if the 26 model have any updates?

I've also heard about the hybrid, (It's in production currently in some other countries already) which I have no interest in. Little mileage gain and smaller gas tank as well as loss of storage space. Hoping there's some compelling reason out there to wait...
My crystal ball doesn't work as well as it used to, but if you are holding out for the 26's with the intent of getting something different, I don't believe that will happen. What "could" happen is the price goes up given the popularity of the GX.

Wasn't looking for crystal ball thoughts. Was looking for facts if anything has been announced. Thanks anyway.
When it comes to the GX (and now Prado) Toyota usually announces model year changes later in the calendar year. Look for something around September at the earliest, more likely to see notes around October/November time frame. I would not anticipate any huge changes. A price bump is likely. Perhaps the official reveal of the hyrbid (GX 550H) which is going to use the same T24AFTS found in the North American LC250.
I would like to see the digital rear view mirror offered in the OT/OT+ in 2026 models.
I heard that they will bump up the front end another inch. Just kidding.
I don't know about waiting if you want something now. People used to bemoan "I just got my new computer and now a faster/cheaper/better one is coming out soon". There are some edge cases where you have good information and it makes sense to wait a short time to buy something, but it usually is just an exercise is not having something to use that you want, or feeling regret about getting something you just got. I've tried to not look at the price of anything significant I get for as long as I can hold off doing so after getting it to avoid this. Sometimes I succeed

.It needs a bigger fuel tank. 26+ gallons. And a high end sound system that doesn't sound like a 1960's AM radio. And an engine tune that moves the 5600 pounds a bit more quickly.
