My suspicion is you felt you could roll over but you weren't actually in danger of that happening. Certainly this thing will never handle like a sports car or even Subie. I think it is what it is and besides driving it like a truck in most situations you will need gain confidence that it won't...
I'm very happy with my P+, but I was also not at all interested in most of the L or L+ features and definitely didn't want 22" wheels. I'm only slightly envious of adaptive suspension and the additional driving modes. The P+ is ultimately perfect for my needs. At some point I'll put a set of 18"...
You can mute the tone in the touchscreen, but you need to do it every time you put it in reverse. As far as I know, you can't disable the tone without a third party tool. I just deal with it. I have a Thule Revert 4.

I thought it was my imagination. Thanks for confirming the hard 1-2 shift after cold start after the transmission flash. I'm experiencing it, too. Not a big deal, but good to know it's "normal" behavior.
I didn't (and wouldn't) pay over MSRP. Though my car has a few factory options I didn't want, I didn't see any as deal breakers and I actually appreciate them now (HUD). My dealer didn't shove a bunch of unwanted port installed options on me. All in, I'm very happy with the buying experience and...
Thanks. Would love to know more regarding spare when it happens. These are all the same thoughts I have: flush, no poke, more aggressive tire but mainly road use. I'm on a P+, but looking for more rubber than stock.
