I am a first time Lexus owner. I just bought the 2026 GX550 Overtrail two weeks ago. The exterior is Earth/Black Onyx and the interior is Black/Olive Ultrasuede. I stumbled across this forum today and thought it would be a good idea to join the community to hear and learn from other GX owners.
Backstory: I drove a 2007 Chevy Cobalt for 19 years prior so this is a slight upgrade. I started my research on a new vehicle about three years ago and decided on the GX so I put a deposit down two years ago. The dealership called me a few times for the ‘24 and ‘25, but it was never the correct trim/exterior/interior combo. I tried to talk myself into a different truck, but I kept coming back to the GX because it has everything I was looking for in a truck…and it looks soooo dope. It was well worth the wait because I absolutely love this truck and I look forward to many camping trips with my dog.
