We have a Nori RX. Awesome color. My equal first choices for the GX were (and still would be) Nori or Earth. Earth came in first, so Earth for the win. Now, having had it for a little while I still love the Earth color but did think it needed a little bit more to set it apart. Being in HS/College in the 80s I decided to mimic what I could never afford when younger.

A 40th anniversary 4R parked next to me at the state park so had to take a picture of the cousins.

I ordered my Atomic Silver 2025 Overtrail+ August 3rd and just received it. After I got it, I decided to have the side pillars wrapped in black. I love it!!

I originally wanted earth, but my wife didn't relish the idea of driving around in a "FDE vehicle" so we bought an incog. I test drove the caviar and I remember pulling up on the lot and walking out to it and thinking it looked so incredibly burly in black. Might have bought that one, but it was used so they wanted way over MSRP for it.

My first choice was the grey incognito with black roof. Why, because it show the most contrast with the black roof. My second choice was the nori green and that is the one I got. They all look great!

How do you like the look of the side molding you have on the earth? Did you add that or did it come that way?

I put a despot on a GX OT+ in color Earth and now I am second guessing my decision since I have always been in white SUV’s. I love the color earth but in certain lighting conditions it comes off a little on the gold side with some yellow in it. I would like to hear from others who have this color or thought about going with the color earth what their thoughts are. I can always switch to white or I also like the incognito color.

I have attached photos of the same vehicle at my dealer that is a new 2025. I test drove it but decided on ordering a 2026.

Here are two pics of the earth taken at the same time. The driver side looks brownish, the passenger side has a goldfish tint? But not really gold , hard to describe, more of a rich tan.

How do you like the look of the side molding you have on the earth? Did you add that or did it come that way?

I added the side molding…Because I manage a tasting room in Santa Barbara County. My last vehicle got a ton of door dings, so I thought I would do some preventative maintenance. I had them on my 80 series Land Cruiser and I think they look great.

Thats true. I have yet to see the incognito in person.

FDE suddenly became more appealing to me...

When I got my ‘24 OT+ I got Nori Green which I loved and it got a lot of love from others. About a year after I got my ‘24, dealership called up an offered me almost what I paid for it (I paid MSRP) if I wanted to get a ‘26 Earth, exact same spec for MSRP. I said “sure” just had to pay tax on the difference and for some window tint and partial PPF. Now I love the Earth even more and it gets even more love from friends and family . I think it’s really hard to tell from pics; probably fair to say Earth looks better in person than in pics. And also I think it did have to grow on me a little bit.

If nothing else, I'd like the peace of mind. Where did you order these?
I keep hoping the running boards will protect my doors, but I've seen plenty of trucks that open well above the side boards.
