Long story short, but I purchased a '25 for the wife to replace her '14 GX460 (which replaced an '04 GX470). After driving it around for a couple days, she proclaimed that it is too tall (she is 5') and that her parents (in their 80's) have a hard time getting in and out. So.....she is now driving my car (2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS) exclusively. So I guess the GX is mine.
I am an old track rat (tracked vehicles for about 12 years) and love to work on stuff/modify, etc.
So far, some easy things I have done to the 550 are:
Install OCD Freak matte screen protector
Installed OE mudflaps
Install NYTOP Cat shield (we got a lot of tweakers stealing cats around here)
Hardwired my V1
Installed Canvasback covers on the seatbacks and cargo area side panels
Installed the Land Bully rear hatch light
Nothing crazy yet! I am just reading here a lot and educating trying myself on the 550 to plan my next move. Here's some crappy pic I took of the 550 when I got it... Atomic Silver w/Chateau interior. Great rig! So much better than the 470 and 460.
