Hey everyone,

After spending some time around the GX550, one thing that seems to come up pretty often is the factory reverse lighting. It's fine for everyday use, but if you're backing into a campsite, down a trail, or even a dark driveway, a little more light goes a long way.

That's why we put together a vehicle-specific Reverse Light Kit for the 2024–2026 Lexus GX550.

The kit adds a pair of 20W PRO LED pods using factory mounting locations, so there's no cutting or drilling required. It has a clean, OEM-style appearance and throws a wide flood beam that makes it much easier to see what's behind the vehicle when backing up. You can also choose amber or red backlighting, and every kit is backed by M&R Automotive's lifetime warranty.

If you're wondering how much of a difference it actually makes, we also put together a light output video so you can see the beam pattern and coverage in real-world nighttime conditions.

Curious what everyone else is running on their GX550. Have you stayed with the factory reverse lights, upgraded the bulbs, or added auxiliary lighting? We'd love to hear what setup you're using and answer any questions about ours.
