I'm a sales consultant at Houston, TX area Lexus dealership. We have a few incoming GX 550 available to reserve it. We still have a wait list going on but these units are no match for our wait list customers. They are available to reserve it only for Texas residents, management don't accept out of state deposits. i had a pretty bad experience with sterling mccall and group 1 dealers in general, is pat goldwait still at group 1? i moved all my business over to west side lexus, got way better service
 
Pat left Group1 a few years ago. Last I heard, he was running one of Fred Haas stores. Each Group1 location has a different management team, so customer experience can vary from store to store. We do get a lot of repeat customers in our location.
 
I appreciate your reply, I ended up moving to west side lexus, I kept running into issues with service at sterling mccall, the last straw was telling my sister her is-f water pump needed to be replaced, a week after they replaced it.

On that same isf, I had the dreaded disintegrating interior issue, Lexus corporate wouldn't help, Sterling McCall was the dealer I purchased the car from (at the same time as buying an LS600) and sterling mccall wouldn't help either

Mary at west side some how over rode corporate and got my entire interior replaced, this was before I had spent any money with her!

Ever since then, I only buy through her

I had another crazy issue where Sterling McCall body shop didn't coordinate with Enterprise, and got me banned from enterprise for a few years, I only recently got unbanned lol

Just so many issues with group1 dealerships... I'm just glad there is competition in Houston unlike some other cities

Agree with Sterling McCall's below average customer service. They're closer to us but based on their short history with us I'm moving on to any other dealership git our service needs. The last straw was charging me for over 3 gallons of gas when I returned the loaner even though I topped it off and only drove 11 miles to the dealership. The math didn't add up.
