well this is essentially a BMW .... Toyota techs dont understand the wiring on these either ... they are wired like a Beamer... i love the car as well .... for a fun car i plan to get a corolla GR since it has a "back seat" and AWD

For 5k less than price of a 1958 the Supra comes with
B58 inline 400hp knows as gods engine
Brembo brakes
6 speed manual or fantastic zf8 transmissiin
Club sports 2 tires
Forged wheels
Adaptive suspension
Active exhaust
electronic limited slip differential
The most complex sheet metal on any car on sale today
Luxury interior with heads up , leather etc
Built in the same factory as the new g class
At around 55k this is an absurd deal relative to everything else Toyota and Lexus has to offer and the last one orders are being delivered by late December before it gets discontinued
Depreciation seems to be very low on these as the clean 2023 examples still go for low 50s with high 50 msrp . Not sure how resale will be impacted in the coming years as 26 will be the last model year

How do you like the black?. My choice would have been white as it shows the lines better .with that said I think I’m going crazy since my gx is white and I think black looks better and the Supra is black and I wanted white

Love it in person, but it’s not as photogenic - silver or grey shows the lines better in pics. I really wanted blue, but it wasn’t available in 2022. Of course, in 2023, Stratosphere Blue and M/T were offered.

At least Nocturnal matches the wife’s Caviar GX.

I have a 1998 Toyota Supra, to me 2JZGTE with the 6 speed transmission are the best combo
