Burning plastic/fluid smell (5 Viewers)

Anyone ever recognize a very specific burning plastic or fluid smell after they park their vehicle? I can’t tell if it’s recent for me or not, but just now noticing it

I did initially for the first few hundred miles then it went away. Chalked it up to everything getting hot and breaking in for the first time. How many miles do you have on yours and what are your driving conditions before parking it?

20k miles.

Look and see if a plastic bag or wrapper got attached to the exhaust system. It happened to me one time and it smelled for several day before the plastic finally burned off.
