Catalytic Converter Cover Plate (1 Viewer)

Has anyone bought or looked into an undercarriage cover plate for the Catalytic Converters? I didn’t find any prior posts when I searched.

I live in Houston where people love to steal them and they’re very accessible on the GX 550.

No personal experience with it but wanted to share.

Nytop looks cool but not real pictures and no one I have seen has gotten anything from them yet. I personally would hold off a bit before using them

I could be wrong, but I think the OT+ has plates that cover the catalytic converter. You can buy them from Lexus.

Interesting. When I bought it I asked the dealer and they played dumb that they weren’t out yet. Maybe it’s just impossible to get an OEM one as they’re all going on production OT’s

I inquired on other forum without much luck, but it does seem like the cats are easily accessible to thieves. I've got a Talon's Garage cat shield on my Tacoma and it's been solid so I reached out to them since they're local if they make them for the GX. At the time they didn't but once I take delivery I'll see if they need one to fab one up.

I'll keep y'all posted.
