Climate Control in App

I'm looking to see what other GX550 owners are seeing listed in the Lexus App for climate control when you start your vehicle from the app. I am only able to control the temperature, but I've seen other Lexus owners with heat seaters, rear climate, and steering wheel heat as options in their climate control.

I can't wait for Chinese cars to come to USA, Japanese cars are so severely out dated

If you tap climate, you should get a screen where you can choose custom climate settings. You can change temperature, turn on the front seat heat or ventilation, steering wheel heat, and front and rear defrost.

Mine gives me this, and say I turn it all the way up to 90degrees on a winter day, it’ll start but the climate will be at whatever temp it was before I turned it off.

Mine isn't showing any of that either but want to find out how I can get those settings. Perhaps with the GX550, it's not possible? Total bummer if so.

Quick question..did you sign up for remote connect and pay for it? I have a trial until Oct, 2027..wondering if that has anything to do with it. All other remote features work.

OT+ here. I’m able to see the climate settings.

I got in touch with Lexus Connected Technology team, they are opening a ticket for me, I had to give them my vin number, they agree something is wrong with my app/GX

The customer support behind Lexus is the biggest reason I continue to buy these cars

My sales person got their technology specialist to do a brand engagement customer request and found out there were some feature flags that needed to be reset for my app

She said she pinged her coworker in a private whatsapp group to expedite the ticket, it should be resolved tomorrow

The seat heating and steering wheel heating functions will be enabled in my app

Hi All,

I have discovered that I do have all the features but only AFTER I have remote started the car, which is odd. As a workaround this may work for the others in this thread that aren't seeing the other features.

I have still, however, opened a ticket with Lexus and they have been pretty quick to respond. They asked for various details and said they will be back within 5 business days with a fix.
