Took my OT+ in to Dealer for 5k mile service and for "one time free dealer electronic customizations" per the manual at the first visit.
I use BimmerCode and Carista and am comfortable doing my own basic coding.
Really only needed the dealer to customize 2 things:
-when wipers are on or Auto sense, to not turn on my headlights (even though law) but since I always have DRL on, I didnt see the need to have the headlights on as well unless I chose to do so.
-remove the buzzer alarm on the rear glass liftgate in case I wanted to drive with with a dog who loved to look out the back or have a surfboard hanging out and be able to drive without the terrible alarm
They were able to customize/code the WWipers/headlights to my satisfaction.
They were not able to remove the alarm from the glass liftgate when stays open while driving
However, what I did notice is that now I do not get an auditory or visual warning of my fuel to empty on the instrument cluster. Of course now, unable to get in touch with my service tech.
Anyone else have similar issues with coding?
