All,
This is admittedly a bit of a stupid question…

I used the Carista app to disable the Enhanced Sound (it worked flawlessly), however, I’m not sure what the impact is???? Not sure I can tell any difference…what are you supposed to “hear” or “not hear” when you turn the Enhance Sound setting off.

In Sport+ mode, fake engine revving noise is pumped through the stereo speakers. Makes the truck sound like a sports car but it's totally fake. Like lipstick on a pig.

Thanks…I guess my hearing is not that good because I simply don’t sense any audible difference with ESE turned off. Now…I don’t drive in Sport+ so maybe that’s the only place where it would be detectable.

I know I am hijacking the thread but wanted to ask about the Carista app. What can you do with it and is it worth it?
I use Forscan with my Bronco and you can change a lot with that and add some features

I used it to turn off the seatbelt chimes, enhanced engine noise and active noise cancelling. I also increased the turn signal nudge count up to 7. I think the carista site can tell you what options it can interact with.

Awesome, thanks! I will look into it.

I purchased the newer fob they have on the Carista site and it worked flawlessly for me. Like Toxicdog said above, I used the app to turn off the seatbelt warning chimes, enhanced engine sound and increased the turn signal noice and count on the quick signal.

I was not sure what the active noise cancelling did so I left that on.

Overall the app was great.

The active noise cancelling uses microphones in the cabin and your stereo system to produce frequencies to cancel out noise coming from the outside. It can make your audio system have worse performance or make strange noises.

Does Carissa add new features as time goes on or is a fixed feature set?
It can change over time.

I bought the Evo which is on sale for $49. You also need to pay for the app access which for a year is $59 as I recall. Figured that would give me time to experiment with various settings.

Hey guys – I’ve never heard of this Carista app, but looked it up. Did you get a specific one and is there a link you could share?
I absolutely love it but wish it included eliminating the “parking support brake is off” alert and permanently disabling the AC setting S-Flow.

If it can do those two things, I would be a happy man.

I attached a screenshot of the one I bought.
